This action is unauthorized - What does it mean?
If you encounter the error "This action is unauthorized", it typically means that your user profile does not have the necessary permissions to perform the action or view the data you are trying to access.
Why am I seeing this error?
The most common reasons are:
Restricted roles: You have a standard or custom role that only grants access to specific modules.
Document access: You are trying to open a document that requires Admin or Owner permissions.
Missing assignment: You are trying to access a case that is not assigned to you or that you do not own.
How do I fix it?
Check your role: Under the Users menu, you can see which role you have. If you have one of our standard roles, you can see the permission overview here
Custom roles: If you have a Custom role, your Admin or Owner can view your specific permissions under Settings > Roles.
Ask your Admin: Certain modules may be restricted within your team. Contact your administrator to find out which roles have been granted access.
